Ideal Candidate
This is position is not suitable for creative introverts. You need to lead from the front. Constantly pitching, your presentation skills are second to none. Always one step ahead, you display thought leadership amongst your peers and have a burning desire to be recognized as one of the best.
Although we care more than anything about our work, we don’t want a Word Processing machine. We want someone culturally diverse, someone who digs urban culture but can quote us his favorite author, a game player and movie gower. Someone in touch with trends and popular culture, but most of all, someone we can hang with.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate industry-leading creative concepts, while respecting deadlines
- Develop concepts and copy that are strategically sound and on brand
- Develop the Agency’s brand and contribute to our quality standards and culture: Innovation, Courage, Collaboration, Reliability and Game Changing
- Coordinate with Interactive Art Designers, UX and Interactive Developers and External Production teams to deliver concept, copy, interface and functional aspects of projects
- Actively seek ways to leverage new technology to provide innovative first rate client solutions
- Ensure content is in line with SEO best practices
- Develop brand positioning, character, tone of voice and naming proposals, using editorial principles, aesthetic sense and brand considerations
- Develop integrated strategies across multiple channels, online, mobile, AR and print
- Lead creative brainstorms, nurture creative direction, and inspire the development of best practices and award winning work
- Progress in time to develop a key role in business development, maintaining relationships with key industry professionals, creative talent and client development
- Ensure that our creative product stays cutting edge and ahead of competition
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong copy portfolio with 4+ years experience in an agency environment, with minimum 2+ years in an interactive agency setting
- Demonstrable talent for first class, killer, creative concepts on large visible campaigns
- Talent and skill to conceptualize creative ways of leveraging ideas with technology, while integrating the Big Idea through multiple channels
- Management of campaigns throughout entire advertising cycle, across multiple channels
- Nurturing a team of designers & interactive developers to creative excellence
- Strong ability for upholding conceptual strategy, brainstorm facilitation and directing projects across the finish line, while upholding the concept vision
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, actively educating them in digital and interactive marketing
- Significant experience writing in digital, both long form and short form copy
- Proficient understanding of Web, Social Media, Online-media, SEO and Online Marketing
- Working experience with CMS systems
- Should be comfortable researching and building comprehensive target market characterizations, contributing to online user-experience and user behavioral analysis
- Strong demonstration of communicating and presenting a clear vision of how proposals address the clients marketing objectives, problems and requirements set in the brief
- Mid to high level proficiency in branding, digital marketing and media concepts
- Passion and curiosity for digital. Desire for brand building and award winning work
- Experience in Blogging, or Social Media a plus
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism or Communications a plus
